Prospects swept in doubleheader by St. Joe

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Mustangs out-hit the Peak Prospects 7-1 in the first game and 9-3 in the second game, and St Joseph won 4-2 and 12-0 to sweep Thursday night’s doubleheader at McBride Field.

Colton Clarahan (FR, Southeastern CC) pitched the first game and gave up two runs in four innings with one walk two strikeouts. Jake Porter (FR, Johnson County CC) finished the game with one earned run, three walks, and two strikeouts.

Des Moines drops to 14-21, while St. Joe improves to 25-11 with a 23-11 MINK League record.

The Peak Prospects host Sedalia for a doubleheader on Thursday at 2 and 4 p.m. CT.
